We are enjoying our visit with my parents. Mom and Dad are here for a month and we are having a blast!! Instead of taking a vacation this summer, we are having a "stay-cation" with my parents and brother and sister-in-law who will be here in three weeks. We have gone to the beach, the pool, snorkeling, to the North Shore, to the Dole Pineapple Plantation, we've been to the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki beach, took a visit to Sea Life Park, we've shopped, golfed, eaten great local food, watched fireworks across the bay, grilled out twice with friends, played Bunco, bowled, went to Bayfest, Kevin and I went to a Three Doors Down concert...we felt like kids again...it was great!!, gone to the movies, went to Kevin's softball games, we've had a water fight in the bumper boats, and even went and played putt-putt...and oh yeah, we've stopped at the Commissary (grocery store) about 20 times. I think we have all gained about five pounds because of all the goodies we've been eating. We keep saying it's okay because we are on "stay-cation". Tonight we were supposed to go to the Paradise Cove Luau, but it was rained out, so we are going to go back on Thursday night. We are saving some things to do when my brother and Kari come, but we have still done a lot. So if you want to come visit Hawaii, please let us be your tour guides!!
